A new review of Pinky’s has been published online, on the Grown Up People Talking site. Here is a tidbit to whet your interest:
I ate at Pinky’s Westside Grill yesterday, the new restaurant on the corner of Freedom Drive and Morehead Street in Wesley Heights. Open since November, the restaurant built a cult following before it even served its first meal. The two-year process to open Pinky’s came with a lot of hurdles, including the owners’ fight to keep the iconic 1966 Volkswagen Beetle on the roof, which it inherited from the building’s former home as Triple G Automotive. Now Pinky’s is open and it’s poised to become Charlotte’s next…
Late NIGHT Eats
We’ve been named #175 of 365 things to do in Charlotte by Living Social! Whee Here’s some of what they wrote about us:
Head to Pinky’s Westside Grill for a delicious, casual meal day or night — especially late, as they serve until 11 p.m. most nights. We love the fried pickles and the turkey burger, but they’ve got yummy options for both meat-lovers and veggie-lovers (including a veggie burger and veggie dogs). Our prediction? This place is going to be one of your new faves…
I didn’t even know Charlotte had a Westside. YeAH, WESTSIDE!! in my best gangsta voice.
Pinky’s is heading for success, it already has a comfortable feel, I can’t believe they have only been open for a week, already feels established.
Hi! Pinky’s Westside Grill is now open for business and ready to win your heart. The restaurant location is at the intersection of Morehead St. and Freedom Dr. in Charlotte, NC. The proper address, should you care to use GPS, a maps website, or send us a letter in the US mail is: 1600 West Morehead Street – Charlotte, NC 28208. If you see that address coming up as ‘Triple G Automotive’, don’t fear. That’s Pinky’s. Triple G Automotive was the last business at our location before the Pinky’s crew came along and turned it into a fabulous restaurant
